Adjustments to First Vanguards (FV cards)
Thank you for playing Vanguard ZERO.
The Vanguard ZERO development team assesses the current PvP play environment
with careful consideration of player feedback and analysis of win/usage rates in Rank Fights on a regular basis.
As a result of this analysis, an adjustment will be made to card effects in order to address an imbalance in the win rate between players going first and second in these fights
with the update on Tuesday March 3rd, 2022 PST.
The following corrective ability will be added to all First Vanguards (FV cards).
【Adjustment for going 1st or 2nd】
At the start of the 1st turn of the player going 1st, draw a card.
Available in modes other than Story Fight and Challenge Fight.
As a result of this corrective ability, the number of cards you draw during your first turn when going first will change as follows.
＜Currently＞
When going first, the player will draw 1 card on their first turn (the player going second will draw 2)
＜Post-Change＞
When going first, the player will draw 2 cards on their first turn (the player going second will draw 2)
*As a result of this change, both the player going first and the player going second will draw 2 cards on their first turn.
*There will be no change to the amount of cards the player going second pulls on their first turn.
*This change will not apply to Story Fights or Challenge Fights.
*It will go into effect March 1st, 2022, following maintenance.
*There is a possibility that this change will be re-evaluated after analyzing post-implementation win rate data.
