Revisions to Card Abilities (JAN 2022)
Thank you for playing Vanguard ZERO.
The global version will undergo the following skill revisions previously made to the Japanese version in November.
Affected Cards and Schedule
A skill revision or use restriction will be implemented for the following 5 cards.
The time frame of when these changes will take place is as follows.
Change Timeframe: Following the scheduled maintenance on January 1st, 2022.

Skill Revision & Restriction Details
①Skill Revisions
Skill revisions will be implemented for the following 2 cards.
“Kagero”
■Dragonic Overlord “The X”
【Before change】
【V】When legion, add a card with the same card name as your vanguard from your deck to your hand.
【After change】
【V】When Legion, [discard a card from your hand] to add a card with the same card name as your vanguard from your deck to your hand.
*Added the cost of “discard a card from your hand” to activate the skill when you Legion.
“Narukami”
■Brawler, Big Bang Knuckle Buster
【Before change】
【V】1/turn If you are in Legion, Counter-Blast① and [put a Big Bang Knuckle from your hand into your soul] to draw a card, and this unit gets [Power]+5000 and the following ability until end of turn.
【After change】
【V】1/turn If you are in Legion, Counter-Blast① and [put a Big Bang Knuckle from your hand into your soul] to get [Power]+5000 and the following ability until end of turn.
*Removed “draw a card” when activating the skill when in Legion.
②Use Restrictions
A Choice Restriction will be placed on the following 3 cards.
About Choice Restrictions:
Cards under a “Choice Restriction” will be unable to use the relevant ability in decks which contain the specified card in Rank Fights.

(For cards under Choice Restriction in Rank Fight, the ability cannot be used in decks which contain the specified card)
*[Lizard Soldier, Grom]’s ability cannot be used in decks with [Dragonic Overlord the End] in Rank Fights.
*[Dragonic Overlord the End]’s ability can be used regardless of whether or not [Lizard Soldier, Grom] is included in the same deck.
*[Lizard Soldier, Grom]’s ability can be used in decks where [Dragonic Overlord the End] is included in fights other than Rank Fights.
*The conditions above applies for [Rising Phoenix] in relation to [Brawler, Big Bang Knuckle Buster,] and [Duo Clear Parasol, Kura] in relation to [Duo Lovely Angel, Nemuel] as well.
*Organizers of tournaments that utilize the Friend Fight feature, such as the Vanguard ZERO Championship, etc., may choose to implement the use restrictions listed in this notice. We ask that you please abide by the rules set by organizers when participating in such events.
*Other cards with the same ability, grade, and power as [Lizard Soldier, Grom] and [Duo Clear Parasol, Kura] (such as [Battle Sister, Lemonade]) will not be affected.
*Other cards with the same ability, grade, and power as [Rising Phoenix] (such as [Steam Scara, Gigi]) will not be affected.
Regarding Compensation
The 2 cards that underwent skill revisions are eligible for the following compensation.
Compensation Period:
From the end of the January 1st, 2022 (Sat) maintenance until the start of the February 1st, 2022 (Tue) maintenance
【１】Gacha and Box Gacha Compensation
When you receive the 5th copy of the following cards from the “Gacha” or “Box Gacha” during the compensation period, the crafting materials you receive when said card is automatically deconstructed will be as follows.
■Dragonic Overlord “The X”（standard version）

【２】Compensation for Cards in Possession
Each card can be exchanged for the equivalent amount of crafting materials needed to create the same rarity of card for the respective clan during the compensation period.
Furthermore, you can exchange cards from after the G series for the GR crafting materials that are obtained through deconstructing extra copies.

*The rates for the GR crafting materials exchanges above are the same amount of GR materials you would normally obtain when the card is automatically deconstructed after receiving a 5th copy.
*The purpose of the GR crafting materials exchanges listed above is to allow players the option of exchanging target cards for the GR materials they would normally be automatically converted to when obtaining a 5th copy (from the Gacha, etc.) due to the fact that they will not be converted to these materials during the compensation period.
*The [Brawler, Big Bang Knuckle Buster] card was released before the G series, so it is not possible to exchange for GR materials (Spheres).
